YOUR KNOQ APP ACCOUNT
You can request deletion of your KNOQ app account and associated data here, even if you no longer have the app.
24 September 2026 · Account-deletion request route
Only submitted an interest form? Email Steve to withdraw your interest. That is separate from creating a KNOQ account. If you created an account on this website or signed in to the app, use the account-deletion options below.
You can also use KNOQ’s secure account service to request deletion yourself. The email option below remains available.
Continue with online account deletion →Signing in does not delete your account. You will review the details and confirm separately. You do not need to reinstall the app.
Use the same sign-in method as your KNOQ account. If active work or another step needs your attention, follow the instructions shown before continuing.
Already confirmed a request? Use the same link and choose Check saved deletion progress in the browser where you confirmed. The secure screen shows processing, any action required and the confirmed outcome. A receipt does not mean deletion is complete. Do not submit another request to recover progress.
Read what the online route deletes and retains. If you cannot sign in or recover progress, use the email option below and include your request reference if you have one.
Email steve@knoq.au with the subject Delete my KNOQ app account. Tell Steve the email address used for KNOQ sign-in and whether you signed in with email and password, Google or Apple. If you use Apple’s private relay email, mention it if you know it.
Request account deletion →Opens your email app. Sending the email starts your deletion request. You can also copy the address into webmail; you do not need to reinstall KNOQ.
Steve will acknowledge the request, check account ownership if needed, and aim to complete deletion within 30 days. If more time or limited retention is required, you will receive the reason and a revised completion date.
Do not send a password, an identity document, payment-card details or information about another person. If you cannot access your sign-in email, briefly explain that rather than sending extra identity documents.
Tell Steve which information you want to access or correct. Use only enough detail to identify your account and explain your question.
Ask a privacy question →Review KNOQ’s permissions in your phone or tablet settings. Turning off a permission changes device access; it does not delete information already held.
If you only registered interest on the website, say that in your email. Withdrawing that interest is separate from deleting an app account.
Read the website privacy notice →KNOQ will delete the app account and associated KNOQ profile and marketplace data, and will request deletion from relevant service providers where required. Data in recovery backups may remain until the backup expires and will not intentionally be used to recreate a deleted account.
Signing out or uninstalling KNOQ does not delete your account. Your Google or Apple account is separate and will not be deleted.
Contact Steve at steve@knoq.au and explain the concern and the outcome you are seeking. If you remain concerned, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner explains privacy complaints and whether it can assist.
