Who handles the request
KNOQ™ is a registered business name operated by Steve Harley under ABN 40 673 535 778, alongside HarleyShift Advisory.
What KNOQ collects
Your name, email, organisation or independent status, investor context, region, declared possible overlap and any optional context you choose to provide. Technical hosting and security logs may also record ordinary request information. Required fields help us assess and respond to the request; without them we may not be able to progress it. The additional question is optional. Please do not include passwords, payment-card details, identity documents, proof of funds or unnecessary sensitive or third-party information. Contact us first if the matter needs a sensitive exchange.
Why
To assess and respond to your investor-information request, check identity and possible conflicts, govern any later confidential access, protect the site from misuse and maintain a proportionate security and decision record.
What KNOQ does not do
We do not add this information to a marketing list, sell it, use it for advertising, collect proof of funds at this stage or use session replay on the investor journey.
Service providers and overseas processing
Netlify hosts the website and processes this form; Microsoft email services handle notification and correspondence. These services may process information outside Australia. Their storage, processing and support locations depend on the service and settings, so we do not promise Australian-only handling. We share only what is reasonably needed for these services. The form submission is not sent to Ask Norb. See the website notice for supplier and overseas-processing details, or contact us about the locations relevant to your request.
Retention and security
We keep the request while it is reasonably needed to review and manage the conversation, protect confidential access, or meet legal, security and record-keeping needs. We then delete or de-identify it where practical. Access is restricted and proportionate safeguards are used, but no internet system can be promised as completely risk-free.
Our website breach-response approach also applies to investor-request information.
Access, correction, deletion and complaints
You may ask what personal information KNOQ holds about you, request correction, withdraw the request, ask for deletion where KNOQ is not required to retain it, or raise a privacy complaint. Contact steve@knoq.au and use KNOQ investor privacy in the subject line.
The website access, correction, deletion and complaint procedure also applies here, including proportionate identity checks, correction follow-through, reasons if a request cannot be met, and possible OAIC escalation. A privacy request or complaint does not subscribe you to marketing.
Changes to this notice
Updated versions will appear on this page. We will take reasonable steps to bring material handling changes to your attention, through a website notice or direct contact where appropriate, and seek consent where required. An update does not itself authorise a new use.
