Planned experience only. A job can move forward only if a local trade or professional chooses to accept it. Before acceptance, the request shows an approximate area. Exact address follows acceptance. Travel progress is shown only while the accepted professional is travelling and stops at arrival.
Expression of interest only. It does not create an account, approve or verify your business, enrol you in a plan, or guarantee an invitation or work. No KNOQ fees apply during the trial. There is no automatic move to paid participation.

Welcome to KNOQ, your local help marketplace. Saturday afternoon, quarter to four, a tap starts leaking and you need a plumber. Sunday morning, ten o’clock, you look at the lawn and decide today’s the day to get it sorted. Monday, you’ve got the day off and a list of repairs that could use a handyman. Tuesday, it’s time to move that fridge, cabinet or heavy couch and an extra pair of experienced hands would make all the difference. Or perhaps the windows need cleaning, the oven needs attention or the house could use some help before visitors arrive. Different days, different jobs, the same question: is someone suitable nearby and available now? That’s the moment KNOQ is being built for. Tell KNOQ what you need and request help now. Suitable independent trades and professionals nearby can decide whether the work fits their availability. You review the information they provide, ask any questions and decide whether they’re right for the job. When both sides agree, KNOQ confirms the commitment. The agreed professional can then head your way. You can follow their progress and estimated arrival time while they’re travelling, and live location sharing stops when they arrive. If nobody suitable is available right away, you can agree on another time or request a quote first. For homes and businesses, it means less searching, less ringing around and a clearer path to local help. For independent professionals, it means suitable nearby opportunities they can choose when the work fits. Help now, agree on a time or quote first. Both sides choose. Both sides agree. That’s KNOQ.

I created KNOQ after seeing how hard it can be to have skills to offer and still struggle to find the right work. I also saw people who needed local help but did not know who to call.
I wanted to make that first step simpler and fairer for both sides.
There are skilled, qualified people who want to work in the field they trained for and care about, but are struggling to find that opportunity. Some are working outside their chosen profession to make ends meet, while hoping for a chance to use their skills more fully.
There are also established trades and professionals who love what they do and have room for more work. They might be building their business, looking for new local customers or simply wanting to fill gaps in their week.
At the same time, households and small businesses need those skills, yet often do not know where to start, who to contact or who might be available. Sometimes they need help urgently. Sometimes they need a quote before deciding. Sometimes they simply want to arrange an appointment at a time that works for everyone.
KNOQ exists to connect local skills with local needs.
My ambition is to make those connections easier, while respecting the needs of both sides. Professionals should have more opportunity to be found for work they are equipped and willing to do, with control over the commitments they make. Households and businesses should have a clearer way to find suitable local help.
Whether someone is building their reputation or already runs an established business, I believe they deserve a fair opportunity to demonstrate the value of their work.
That is why I started KNOQ, and what I want us to stay true to as we build it.

CLEAR FROM THE START
No KNOQ fees during the trial. No automatic move to paid. Here is the proposed direction for what comes next.
When the trial opens, participating professionals pay no KNOQ sign-up, introduction or membership fees. Nothing is deferred or back-billed. Your customers still pay for the work you agree with them.
At least 30 calendar days’ notice.
As a trial participant, you’ll receive final prices and terms at least 30 calendar days before any KNOQ fees could apply. The trial end date has not been announced.
You choose to continue.
Nothing rolls over automatically. If you do not opt in, new requests pause. You retain access to existing jobs, invoices, records, support and remedies.
A monthly plan is optional.
Choose pay as you go or an optional monthly plan under the final terms. You do not need to choose a plan to express interest now.
Express interest now. Business checks and trial participation come later.

No plan buys priority, verification or guaranteed work. Core marketplace access is shared across the options. Membership fees are additional to introduction fees; no free-job allowance is included. A higher plan is not always the lowest total cost.
An introduction is not a won job. A valid quote introduction can still carry a fee if your quote is not chosen. There is no second introduction fee when that quote becomes the same work. Cancellation and refund terms apply.
Separate from the job payment. The professional sets the work price. Any separate job-payment processing charges and who pays them will be explained before that payment route is agreed. They are not included in these KNOQ fee examples.
Still your choice. These proposed prices do not start the 30-day notice period or enrol you in anything. Final prices, available options and terms must be confirmed before a paid choice.
The proposed paid fee is for a secured introduction, not a promise of work. You see and agree to the exact KNOQ fee before committing.
Receiving, reviewing or passing on an opportunity does not trigger a fee.
No second introduction fee when a quote leads to the same work. A quote introduction can still be chargeable if the quote is not chosen.
For the planned quote-comparison option, a customer can request up to three businesses. Each participating business sees its own fee and the comparison terms before committing. Supply is not guaranteed; comparison pricing still needs confirmation.
As an independent professional, you set your work prices and terms. KNOQ does not guarantee payment of your job invoices.
You remain responsible for credentials, insurance and service delivery.
Proposed model only.Paid KNOQ features are not active. Final fees, refunds and other terms will be explained before activation. This explanation does not exclude KNOQ’s own responsibilities or anyone’s rights under applicable law.
For households and businesses.No KNOQ fee simply to express interest or send a future request. The professional’s underlying service remains payable.
RESPONSIBILITIES, INSURANCE & PRIVACY
Bookings and public business checks are not open yet. This website does not offer KNOQ-backed insurance cover for professionals’ work.
Under KNOQ’s planned model, you engage an independent professional business to do the work. It sets its prices and remains responsible for its service, workmanship, licences and insurance. Customers agree the scope and price with that business and pay for the agreed work.
KNOQ operates the platform and remains responsible for its own conduct and obligations. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not excluded by this explanation.
Professionals are responsible for their own insurance appropriate to their work, including public liability where relevant. Expressing interest does not provide insurance cover.
Insurance checks are still being prepared. Before bookings open, we need a process for reviewing evidence such as current certificates of currency and keeping checks up to date.
Registering interest does not mean a business has been checked.
A certificate is evidence of a policy, not a guarantee of workmanship or that every claim is covered. Cover depends on the policy’s terms, limits and exclusions.
The planned app keeps the job location approximate before acceptance. Only the accepted professional receives the exact address. Live-trip sharing operates while travelling and stops at arrival.
